About The Position

The Project Manager drives project delivery, ensuring timelines, product launches, and supply chain coordination are successfully executed. This role defines project scope, tracks progress, and maintains accountability across cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The position requires managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while proactively identifying risks, resolving issues and providing regular status updates and forecasts to leadership. Success in this role depends on strong analytical and communication skills with a focus on efficiency, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of project management experience, preferably within a CPG import and distribution environment
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or a certification with a focus in Project Management desired but not required
  • Previous experience within consumer package goods, experience in convenience retailing environment is preferred
  • Ability to generate positive relationships and foster a team environment through excellent leadership and management skills
  • Solid planning and organizational skills, detail orientation and the ability to manage multiple projects in a pro-active, timely manner
  • Strong communication skills, including strong writing and presentation skills as well as proven influencing and persuading skills.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Project Management software experience
  • Ability to travel on occasion

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience within consumer package goods, experience in convenience retailing environment is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or a certification with a focus in Project Management desired but not required

Responsibilities

  • Drive project life cycles, including holding departments accountable to tasks and achieving successful project completion, including but not limited to achieving reasonable in store dates, production dates, revenue forecasts, etc.
  • Create scope of project, maintain timeliness in dealing with issues, and track timeline progress and report status updates.
  • Be responsible for flawless execution of projects in an extremely fast-paced environment with continual changing priorities
  • Assess project demand, analyze inventory flow, and develop project revenue forecast
  • Participate in meetings and works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain
  • Work with cross-functional team leaders to support team member’s collective execution and success
  • Report on project status and forecast to varying level of company leadership
  • Communicate clear expectations to all supporting functional groups by assigning completion dates, responsible persons and any other relevant notes
  • Proactively monitor and report on important changes to projects, project timelines, and project forecasts
