About The Position

GovCIO is currently hiring for Project Manager to support the Air National Guard (ANG) A6 IT Infrastructure Modernization to oversee the day to day operations, develop plans on meeting deadlines, and reaching milestones along with collaboration with other team managers, stakeholders and the Government Technical Manager (GTM) to establish efficient team utilization. This position will be remote with some travel to Andrews AFB, MD.

Requirements

Clearance Required: Secret
High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)
Experience with project management software (i.e., JIRA, Github, MSProject, ServiceNow, Asana, SharePoint).
Experience leading UX design teams
Experience with Microsoft office, MS TEAMS, workflows, and workflow management.
Experience within a SAFe/Agile environment.
Certified Scrum Master

Nice To Haves

Project Management Professional – PMP Certified (highly preferred).
Experience with DoW networks (SIPR, NIPR, JWICS)

Responsibilities

Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects.
Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff.
Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers.
Reports to a Program Manager.
Manages the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
Defines requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment.
Supervises professional and technical support personnel performing in their regular disciplines.
Schedules tasks and coordinates with various team members to accomplish the results.
Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting.
Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and stay organized.
Highly motivated and analytical; proven problem-solving abilities.
Ability to take initiative and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment.
