About The Position

John W. Danforth Company, an employee-owned mechanical contractor in the Northeast, is seeking a Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of projects related to HVAC, refrigeration, critical environments, custom metal fabrication, energy performance, and specialty mechanical projects. Requirements

  • 3+ years of Project Management experience
  • Proficient in MS Office and various construction management software applications.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to continuous learning.
  • Proven communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must have the integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to represent Danforth in the most professional, positive manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong enthusiasm for learning about the mechanical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage resource allocation strategies to effectively achieve project objectives.
  • Create detailed budgets and track financial performance throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Oversee project timelines and milestones, implementing proactive measures to address potential risks and delays.
  • Maintain consistent and transparent communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Guide and mentor project team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performing work culture.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards at every stage of the project.
