About The Position

itD is seeking a Project Manager III to drive execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives supporting the build-out of a first-party retail function and in-store technology ecosystem. This role plays a critical part in enabling the successful launch and scaling of brick-and-mortar retail experiences by translating strategy into execution and ensuring seamless coordination across business and technical teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in project/program management within retail, consumer electronics, or technology environments and a track record of delivering end-to-end project execution, retail systems implementation, and operational process development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management within DTC retail, consumer electronics, technology, or hospitality industries
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, Wrike)
  • Strong experience with productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience implementing and managing retail systems (POS, ERP, CRM, AV, in-store demo technologies)
  • Experience developing and implementing operational processes (e.g., SOPs)
  • Demonstrated ability to execute business strategy through implementation and delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required

  • Ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach

  • Experience creating store-facing communications (e.g., briefings, FAQs)

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of cross-functional projects from initiation through execution and completion
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear action plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Break down large, ambiguous initiatives into structured, actionable workstreams and drive execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across retail operations, product marketing, enterprise systems, finance, and product management
  • Drive implementation and enhancement of retail systems including POS, ERP, CRM, and in-store technologies
  • Track, manage, and communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and milestones to leadership
  • Operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while maintaining focus on delivery and outcomes
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities
