AECOM is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to support a critical water/wastewater Capital Improvement Program (CIP) assignment in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area. PMs within the CIP Program Management Team (CIP PMT) are responsible for directly managing, on behalf of the client and in collaboration with client PMs, client contractors on select CIP projects to achieve cost, quality, risk, and schedule objectives. Responsibilities include ensuring program standards and protocols are followed and leading all project management functions across the planning, design, and construction phases. The position may require occasional duties outside of the PMT, including: Serving as a senior technical resource or technical advisor for the team. Providing specialized technical input to studies and design within the candidate's area of expertise. Developing study and design procedures to enable high-quality, cost-effective work by others. Participating in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables. Preparing construction cost estimates and estimating technical effort for projects. Using expertise in all steps required to complete the discipline component of PS&E packages. Performing quality control reviews of design calculations or drawings. Preparing technical specification sections. Providing input into the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.
