About The Position

NSF is looking for a Project Manager in our Sample Management department who will be a liaison between the client and the labs.

Requirements

• Education: appropriate 4-year degree
• Experience and ability to work with diverse clients including personnel in technical, commercial, administrative, and managerial roles
• Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers
• Experience developing or tracking customer satisfaction elements
• Knowledge of laboratory testing and technical knowledge of common microbiology, chemistry, or physical engineering tests
• Experience with process mapping and/or developing new workflows with internal teams
• Clear written communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented precision is required.

Nice To Haves

• Project Management experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure laboratory testing projects are completed on-time
• Quickly and accurately resolve open issues by working with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Provide outstanding service as the client’s single point of contact.
• Manage the client interface for both internal and external clients providing timely, professional updates and prompt responses
• Provide client feedback to laboratory management
• Determine and communicate testing priorities to the lab
• Suggest and support process improvements
• Support launch of new service offerings or other initiatives
• Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities
• Utilize and update internal laboratory and customer relationship management systems
• Comply with all NSF regulations and requirements
