The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, while staying on time, within scope and on budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects successfully. Devises solutions based on limited information and precedents and adapts existing approaches to resolve issues. Uses evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of action. Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points. Project Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Specializes in a specific product line while gaining experience to manage all product lines independently. Owns customer projects from beginning to end including developing and executing full-scale project plans, identifying, and managing project dependencies and the critical path, and all associated documents while ensuring the status of the project is communicated to team members and stakeholders in an ongoing, timely and clear manner. Tracks all project milestones and deliverables within the scope. Manages and completes requests to modify the scope of the project while analyzing the effects on the project budget, schedule, and scope. Analyzes the scope of the change to determine if a change request is needed and if so, communicates all change requests to the senior or above project manager to determine the necessary pricing adjustment. Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders and works with management to secure all project resources. Delegates project tasks and responsibilities to the assigned resources and provides clear direction on project expectations. Determines the content of status reports needed from the project team and communicates these details to the team. Facilitate project status meetings to address project deliverables, issues, and risks. Serves as the main escalation point for customers, implementation staff, and 3rd parties, while closely managing project scope, timeline, and profitability. Must be able to work in all aspects of Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Email. Must be able to learn and work in multiple software management systems to manage projects, budgets, and expenses. Sets and monitors forecasts and revenue recognition for the project, notifying management when significant revenue is moved. Ensures billing is initiated according to contract specifications. Reconciles Subcontractor invoices, requests payment of these invoices and works with Finance on recognizing the Subcontractor revenue. Ability to learn and communicate credit card processing across multiple platforms. Ability to learn and communicate about network and power requirements. Knowledge of conduit, cabling, terminations, and concrete. Establishes and communicates the warranty period to Field Services and Support Teams. Identifies and evaluates issues within the project team and when necessary, consults with management to develop action plans to resolve the issues. Builds, develops, and grows business relationships vital to the success of the project. Maintains accurate and detailed documentation and project artifacts related to the program/projects. Project files are thoroughly organized, including but not limited to documentation such as meeting notes, IP Spreadsheets, submittals, kick-off documentation, communication plans, project audits, punch lists, lessons learned, training plans, transfer to support, warranty. Conducts and documents project lessons learned in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Specializes in one or more specific product line. Travel may be necessary and varies by project. Estimated travel is less than 25% of the time.
