Canvas is seeking a Project Manager to support the 896th Test Support Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base. This announcement is to fill a newly funded single position. The Project Manager shall provide advice and assistance services in support of project planning briefings, design reviews, requirements reviews, and TIMs and assist in the preparation and presentation of briefings. The Project Manager shall utilize available software tools to produce high quality briefings and reports. The Project Manager shall have knowledge of and utilize Air Force and local acquisition management policies and Air Force and local Financial Management instructions and practices. The Project Manager shall report issues or problems and recommend specific actions required to resolve them. The Program Manager should be able to provide the following. - Advice and assistance services in support of 896 Test Support Squadron (896 TSS) Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) of all T-2 aircraft modifications. - Advice and assistance services in support CCPM relating to aircraft modifications and manage the program management software application. - Advice and assistance services in support analysis and troubleshooting of large and complex project schedules. The Program Manager shall analyze and support network modifications for project span time reduction, buffer recovery, and re-baseline efforts. - Advice and assistance services in support identifying the Squadron’s workload capacity. The Program Manager shall synchronize all projects in the instrumentation portfolio. The Program Manager shall provide buffer and task analysis using software tools to include Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and TEAMS. - Advice and assistance services in support of installation and configuration of all systems required to run Microsoft Project. The Project Manager shall test and evaluate all new software releases prior to push out on Squadron systems. - Advice and assistance services to support efficient planning. The Contractor shall attend scheduling meetings, progress reviews, critical design reviews, configuration control boards, and lead pipelining sessions. - Advice and assistance services in support of briefings, reports, and schedule charts utilizing Microsoft Office products and other software tools.
