The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing the execution of complex projects from order release through installation. The PM is accountable for managing projects and their subsequent deliverables throughout the production workflow, to project completion, delivery, and installation. PMs understand all of Moss’s in-house and out-sourced capabilities and know the step-by-step details required to deliver a successful project. They supervise the final QC and packing of the product. They may also perform supervision of the installation project. The PM discipline also involves understanding financial aspects of a project including, ongoing budget to actuals management, identifying and managing scope creep, and protecting final project margin. The PM will consult on projects during the solutions development and estimating phase, monitor change orders and schedule, and coordinate with Strategic Account Managers, technical design, production managers, and purchasing to ensure that all milestones are met on schedule.
