About The Position

Roberts Civil Engineering is seeking a highly energetic, motivated, team player as Project Manager for the Municipal Consulting division of the company in our St. Simons Island, Georgia office in a part-time capacity. The ideal candidate will create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Project Manager’s role at Robert Civil Engineering fulfills two main objectives: Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers Develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new opportunities for the company The person awarded this position will… Build and maintain long lasting client relationships by making the client’s success your mission Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers and vendors through a strong knowledge of Roberts Civil Engineering Design, Municipal and Construction Management services Serve as lead point of contact for all account management matters with an emphasis on exceeding clients’ expectations with an elite level of service and availability Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly results and annual forecasts) Regularly collaborate with all divisions of the company to stay current on workloads, timelines and service offerings Maintain a strong working knowledge of current events in the market and the evolving trends and regulation in the industry Administer a wide variety of projects for your clients, leveraging the firm’s engineering design, construction management, permitting and consultation services Responsible for the general management of a project from concept to completion and the day-to-day communications with the client Facilitate the team-concept, working in conjunction with the technical departments to deliver professional services to the client Monitor the progress of the project based upon schedule, budget, design criteria, client expectations and regulatory compliance Maintain the project files with all necessary documentation and submittals Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed Ensure the successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs

Requirements

BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or other applicable degree
Proven success as a Project Manager, Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Technical Salesperson or relevant role
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
Excellent listening skills to quickly identify customer needs and convert them to client-focused solutions
A positive attitude and a desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong leadership skills and a competitive nature
Success managing multiple projects while maintaining a sharp attention to detail
Integrity, professionalism and accountability in all business practices
Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office – Excel and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
