About The Position

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Project Manager position. The Project Manager provides project guidance, implementation, and support for initiatives impacting Norco technologies and business operations. Evaluate and document new and existing processes to bring efficiency and scalability to all Norco business units. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; OR 3+ years equivalent work experience in project management, continuous improvement OR combination of both
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodology
  • Self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in managing time, resources, and changing priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Institute Certificate preferred
  • Familiarity with Lean, Toyota Production System methodologies preferred
  • Working understanding of Business Management Systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring projects are delivered within the schedule, scope, cost, budget and resource expectations
  • Maintaining strong customer focus and working with all sponsors and key stakeholders for project approval and achieving successful outcomes
  • Identifying key technical and project risks and issues and actively put mitigating actions in place
  • Consult on business and technical contracts to ensure scope/terms are adequately defined and protect Norco’s best interests
  • Estimating resource requirements and coordinating with leaders to ensure the right internal and external resources are being properly prioritized and allocated
  • Independently create and manage project schedule and work breakdown structure
  • Researching, evaluating, and proposing potential solutions for business needs
  • Quantifying project benefits and costs, including return on investment (ROI)
  • Establishing key performance metrics in alignment to project goals
  • Guiding project team to ensure business unit readiness for implementation of change
  • Facilitating Plan, Do, Check, Act model in support of continuous improvement culture
  • Minimal travel required per project needs
  • Follow safe work practices in performance of all duties and follow the company’s safety policies daily
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or needed
