About The Position

Project Manager Department Overview: The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) establishes and evolves enterprise project delivery standards to support consistent execution of strategic initiatives across the organization. The EPMO partners with leaders and cross-functional teams to provide planning discipline, delivery transparency, and execution support for high-impact work. The department focuses on improving delivery predictability, capacity awareness, and execution maturity while supporting SILAC's continued growth. The EPMO enables teams to operate effectively through structured processes, clear accountability, and continuous improvement. Job Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing assigned projects in alignment with organizational priorities. This role manages project scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication while following established EPMO standards and methodologies. The Project Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within expectations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives with guidance from senior EPMO leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management or related roles
  • Experience managing projects with defined scope, timelines, and stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid)
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with guidance from senior PMO leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the insurance industry, preferably annuity lines of business
  • Project Management certification (CAPM, PMP in progress, or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives and process improvement efforts

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute assigned projects, managing scope, schedules, dependencies, and risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and aligned with defined requirements
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, schedules, status reports, risks, and action items
  • Track progress against milestones and escalate issues or risks as appropriate
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to coordinate tasks, timelines, and deliverables
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and EPMO leadership
  • Follow EPMO methodologies, tools, and governance standards to ensure consistency and quality
  • Support project reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement activities
  • Utilize project management tools such as Jira, Monday.com, and related platforms to track and report project progress
  • Maintain accurate project data to support portfolio-level reporting and forecasting
