About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution and delivery of short-term and long-term projects to help Industrial Coatings business achieve its growth strategy. This role reports to the Project Management Office Leader and is a member of the Industrial Coatings Strategic Marketing team. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, manages stakeholder relationships, and uses their strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor"s degree with 7+ years relevant experience i.e. product management, project management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning:
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring all members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress and address any issues.
  • Be an objective voice-of-the-business
  • Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Monitor expenditures and implement cost-control measures as necessary.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and report on project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, including progress, challenges, and changes to scope and/or timelines.
  • Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Closure:
  • Conduct project reviews and document lessons learned.
  • Ensure all project documentation is completed and archived appropriately.
  • Facilitate the transition of project deliverables to operational teams.
