About The Position

Alamo Structural Steel, LLC is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team and assist in growing and expanding our brand within South and West Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management methodologies and tools, focusing on delivering successful projects within scope, budget, and schedule. The candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and can tactfully work through conflict and complex negotiations. Minimum Starting Salary: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00; Salary commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. This position will work out of our Georgetown Office. Position Summary: The Project Manager will manage the client relationship and develop and maintain high-level customer service with internal and external stakeholders. This includes managing all activities associated with project implementation, from development, review of estimates, and projects within budget to project completion and closeout.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the steel construction industry AISC standards and AWS codes.
  • Ability to withstand pressure and adapt to change.
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints.
  • Ability to be proactive and anticipate needs before they arise.
  • Project Management experience in construction or manufacturing

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all dealings with key personnel, including clients, engineers, architects, detailers, and construction teams, to identify potential issues and develop resolutions.
  • Review plans and proposals to determine proper procedures for accomplishing department and company goals.
  • Ensure all details of projects are documented.
  • Monitor costs associated with projects and meet with project Executives, Senior Project managers (s), and/or CFOs regarding project budgets.
  • Ensure all terms of the contract(s) and obligations are adequately maintained.
  • Comply with AISC policies and procedures as well as OSHA safety standards.
  • Visit job sites as required.
  • Assure proper accounting for project change orders, including estimating budgets for said change orders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
