NASK is seeking a dynamic, experienced Project Manager focused on delivering value to our NASIC customers through excellent communication, staff management, and a mission-focused approach. You will coordinate daily with customer management and technical staff to ensure a combined team of contractor support meets mission requirements. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the NASIC mission and organizational structure; business acumen and knowledge of management processes, including financial and technical baseline management, agile team management, recruiting, and staffing; and a keen attention to detail. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to deliver critical solutions that achieve mission impact.

Requirements

  • Understanding of NSIC & NASIC mission areas and established customer relationships
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or business field
  • 10 years of DoD/IC experience with at least 5 years in program/project management/business development
  • Program management or related certification (e.g. PMP)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, time-management, leadership, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with software development projects and agile methodologies
  • Experience in proposal development processes
  • Experience identifying and executing on-contract growth opportunities
  • Active TS with SCI, willing/able to obtain CI Poly
  • Master’s degree in a relevant technical field

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with government and contractor personnel
  • Control financial baseline metrics and performance to meet project requirements
  • Ensure that staff are focused on mission requirements and project objectives
  • Manage team dynamics and resolve conflicts through effective communication and leadership
  • Develop and brief program management reviews
  • Plan for future staffing requirements and work with recruiting staff to identify personnel
  • Support future proposal activities as required to recompete incumbent work
  • Work proactively with customers to identify needs and future work opportunities
