About The Position

The qualified candidate will provide leadership and guidance in all aspects of assigned projects. The individual will lead the day-to-day aspects of the project execution, and participate in its development, execution, and final close out. This will include the administration of assigned TLS personnel as well as contracted subconsultants/subcontractors and other vendors as necessary. This position will require 75% - 100% site travel as the PM is expected to be a site lead and to become closely familiar with all assigned projects. While the current project opportunity for this position is Orlando, FL, future projects may require out of state travel. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who possess a preferred background in general construction, with a strong emphasis on all aspects of building envelope construction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience with individual projects in excess of $10M
  • 5+ years of effective subconsultant management experience, including contract negotiation and contract management.
  • 5+ years of personnel management experience
  • 5+ years of project budget management
  • 5+ years of project schedule management
  • Prior experience with MEP and Building construction
  • Ability to site travel up to 100% of the time (this is not a remote position)
  • Ability to review plans/specs and contract documents for scope of work compliance, quality control, formal training in these areas is desirable.
  • An OSHA 30 Certificate issued in the past 4 years.
  • Proficiency with MS Project
  • Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to demonstrate a professional level of verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of Healthcare Construction experience
  • Proficiency in Procore Contract Management Software
  • PMP Certification
  • Knowledge/experience with ICRA, hazard analysis
  • Practical experience working with FAR based contracts for the US Federal Government

Responsibilities

  • Lead the fulfillment of all required contract obligations as listed in the agreement entered into by TLS with its client(s).
  • Oversee the subcontractor/vendor relationships entered into by TLS on behalf of the individuals’ assigned contracts.
  • Assure all company and client safety protocols are being followed, addressing deficiencies promptly and providing additional guidance as needed.
  • Provide proper fiscal management in all aspects in the execution of the project. This will include oversight of project budget, client billing as well as payments to subs and vendors.
  • Provide proper administration of the project schedule for the successful execution and completion of the project.
