We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Project Manager to support cross-departmental initiatives through the development and management of tailored project tracking systems. This role is instrumental in aligning project execution with broader organizational goals, particularly the advancement of internal processes through defined maturity models. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a flexible approach to project management methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the evolution of internal capabilities by building systems that support visibility, accountability, and long-term process improvement.

Requirements

  • Cross functional project management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build or adapt project tracking systems to meet team-specific needs.
  • Familiarity with maturity models (e.g., SE-CMM, OPM3, etc).
  • Proficiency with project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, JIRA, Confluence, Asana).
  • Strong facilitation, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Experience working across diverse teams with varying levels of process maturity.
  • High comfort with ambiguity and iterative development of tooling and process.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data analysis, visualization, and/or dashboarding tools.
  • Exposure to or certification in Project Management or Process Management frameworks.
  • Background in designing or implementing internal business systems or tool integrations.
  • Familiarity with compliance or regulated industry environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain project tracking systems (e.g.,Monday.com, JIRA, etc).
  • Tailor project tools and templates to reflect departmental needs and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure tracking tools are capable of supporting maturity model benchmarks and assessments.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and embed maturity criteria across core business functions.
  • Use project data to evaluate maturity progression and recommend development pathways.
  • Build mechanisms within tooling to visualize and report on maturity advancement.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with technical and operational teams to elicit project and process requirements.
  • Translate ambiguous inputs into actionable tracking solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a liaison across departments to ensure shared understanding of tracking practices.
  • Conduct ongoing project update meetings and coordinate action items as per project plans.
  • Manage and support cross-functional initiatives from initiation through closure.
  • Monitor timelines, dependencies, and deliverables while maintaining visibility into process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead retrospectives and post-mortem sessions to extract learnings and refine workflows.
  • Apply and adapt methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) to suit varying project types and team maturities.
  • Educate teams on right-sized frameworks and assist in their adoption across departments.
