The Mission Leidos is seeking a Project Manager who is motivated by variety, seeking a challenging environment for professional growth, and is interested in work on a high-profile datacenter migration project in Suitland, Maryland. This position will provide oversight and project coordination in support of IT and future state planning, design specification/implementation and target architecture development for the AFNCR Consolidated Communication Center (CCC).

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or MA/MS with 10+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance
  • Experience leading diverse teams of technical disciplines and support.
  • Experience supporting system upgrades, migrations, or platform modernization efforts.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) across a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Vendor management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast paced and complex environment
  • Strong skills using Microsoft product tools and PPM tools.
  • PMP certification required

  • Microsoft Project experience.
  • Microsoft Power BI utilization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects ensuring scope, schedule, cost, documentation and quality objectives are met.
  • Coordinate and govern activities performed by system engineers, including task planning, deliverable reviews, issue resolution, and change control.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of subcontractors and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and executive communications.
  • Facilitate working sessions, design reviews, data center workflows and integration impacts.
  • Manage project communications and ensure alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Manage project budget, maintain financial plan, track actuals vs. plan, provide monthly forecasts
