About The Position

Nature's Sunshine is seeking a highly resourceful and energetic Project Manager to help drive the execution of global product development initiatives across two wellness brands sold in more than 40 countries. As a member of the Project Management Office (PMO), this individual serves as a facilitator of the Stage-Gate innovation process , which guides the end-to-end product lifecycle-from concept through launch. This role ensures consistent, high-quality execution of tasks, milestones and timelines by orchestrating work across cross-functional teams and maintaining alignment, clarity, and accountability. Supporting the Cross-Functional Innovation Team (CFIT), the Project Manager enforces governance, resolves friction points, and accelerates decision-making to keep projects on track. This role also participates in refining and evolving the innovation process to balance structure with speed , enabling effective product delivery without unnecessary complexity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience within consumer-packaged goods (CPG) product development environments.
  • Dietary supplements or functional foods experience with international markets strongly preferred. (non-IT; no software-focused project management backgrounds).
  • PMP certification is strongly recommended.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, international cross-functional product development initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Stellar relationship building skills with the ability to inspire and unite diverse personality types.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workfront platforms.
  • Proven ability to operate with authority, objectivity, and credibility in fast-moving, deadline-driven environments.

Responsibilities

  • Executes projects within the PMO under the direction of the Director of Global Project Management –supporting standardized processes, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Partners with the Director of Global Project Management and fellow project managers to surface risks, address challenges, and align on effective solutions across initiatives.
  • Acts as an objective, neutral, and critical partner to the CFIT-challenging assumptions, resolving friction, and driving accountability to delivery.
  • Facilitate the global Stage-Gate innovation (product development) process to ensure predictable, timely, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Enable adherence to milestones, governance, and decision rights while maintaining forward momentum.
  • Continuously improving the process to balance structure with agility, accelerating speed-to-market without creating unnecessary complexity.
  • Drive consistent execution of the process across brands, regions, and functions.
  • Create and manage integrated project plans for new product launches, reformulations, and associated marketing deliverables.
  • Enable the CFIT to progress initiatives through concepting, development, sourcing, manufacturing, QA/QC, shipping, and launch.
  • Ensure projects meet agreed timelines, budgets, and quality expectations through proactive planning and issue management.
  • Maintain transparency in the innovation pipeline: risks, dependencies, trade-offs.
  • Serve as the CFIT connective tissue across Marketing, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance.
  • Facilitate alignment, decision-making, and handoffs between functional teams.
  • Identify conflicts, roadblocks, and impasses early, driving resolution through influence, data, and escalation when necessary.
  • Provide clear, concise, and outcome-focused communication with project teams.
  • Surface risks, trade-offs, and decisions with context and recommended paths forward; develop culture-appropriate communication techniques and tone with project teams.
  • Excellent knowledge and skill with Workfront project management platform.
  • Standardize tools, templates, and reporting to support scalability and continuous improvement.
