About The Position

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Project Manager. Responsibilities: Financial Planning: Leading the financial planning process, which includes three-year, one-year, and latest estimate/forecast planning cycles; This task involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce accurate and comprehensive financial projections focused on cost reduction Month-End Closing: Overseeing the month-end closing procedure to ensure prompt and precise financial reporting; Responsibilities include account reconciliation, journal entries, accruals, preparation of financial statements, and ensuring all financial activities align with accounting standards and regulations Accounting Compliance: Ensuring adherence to established accounting guidelines and internal controls through regular reviews and audits of financial transactions to maintain compliance and integrity Requisition Creation: Creating requisitions and purchase orders for technology-related expenses Account Reconciliations: Performing ad-hoc account reconciliations, variance investigations, and reporting Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Leading initiatives for continuous improvement in financial management within the technology sector Contract Management: Collaborating with procurement to manage contracts and achieve cost savings Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or Accounting 2-5 years of experience in project management, budget planning, and/or financial planning Expertise in SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment Must be process improvement-focused

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or Accounting
  • 2-5 years of experience in project management, budget planning, and/or financial planning
  • Expertise in SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be process improvement-focused
