About The Position

- The Project Manager serves as a strategic execution partner to a Producer, supporting a growing book of business by driving organization, prioritization, and follow-through across client and internal initiatives. This role is designed to create leverage—ensuring day-to-day workflows run smoothly, deadlines are met, and client needs are proactively addressed—so the Producer can focus on business development, relationship management, and strategic growth. - The Project Manager works closely with Account Managers, Analysts, and other internal stakeholders to coordinate work, manage timelines, and improve execution across multiple concurrent projects. This is a highly visible role that requires strong judgment, communication skills, and the ability to operate independently while maintaining close partnership with a senior leader.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in project management, operations, consulting support, or a similar professional services environment
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing demands
  • Ability to operate independently while partnering closely with a senior stakeholder
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-through capabilities
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and adapting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Comfortable leveraging AI-enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot and future AI technologies) to improve efficiency, organization, and quality of work, including drafting, summarization, analysis, and workflow optimization

  • Experience in employee benefits, insurance, consulting, or related professional services preferred
  • experience with CRM or project management tools a plus

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with a Producer to support and execute against a growing and complex book of business
  • Act as a right-hand partner by helping prioritize, organize, and manage day-to-day workflows and key initiatives
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ensure deadlines, client commitments, and internal deliverables are consistently met
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities to improve execution and service delivery
  • Own and track timelines across multiple client-facing and internal projects simultaneously
  • Coordinate work across Account Managers, Analysts, and other internal stakeholders to drive projects forward
  • Maintain visibility into open items, next steps, and dependencies; ensure timely follow-up
  • Support special projects, including client events, internal initiatives, and cross-functional efforts
  • Facilitate internal alignment through regular check-ins, status updates, and action-item tracking
  • Support preparation and coordination for key client meetings, renewals, and deliverables
  • Assist with development and organization of presentations, materials, and meeting agendas
  • Help manage client communications, follow-ups, and internal escalation as needed
  • Leverage project management and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track progress, tasks, and key touchpoints
  • Stay current on internal tools, templates, and processes that drive efficiency and consistency
  • Continuously evaluate and refine workflows to improve efficiency and reduce friction
  • Support internal reporting, tracking, and planning efforts as needed
  • Contribute to team-wide initiatives, best practices, and operational improvements
