About The Position

Southwest Electrical Contracting Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to execute and oversee electrical construction projects in Converse, TX, and surrounding areas. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of electrical construction projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical construction project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing electrical construction projects ($250k+).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry standards (NEC, OSHA, etc.).
  • Knowledgeable with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage one to four projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and teams.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and manage electrical construction projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring alignment with project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control to meet financial and operational objectives.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Lead field teams on the project, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to mitigate delays or issues.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and client satisfaction.
