As NTH continues to grow, we are looking to hire a Project Manager to help deliver project excellence to our clients. With offices in Northville, Detroit, East Lansing, Grand Rapids, and a lab and equipment office in Livonia, we are positioned to provide our services and local expertise to our clients’ facilities throughout Michigan and the Midwest. How You Will Make An Impact · Lead high-profile projects, serve as the trusted advisor for clients, and develop growth opportunities across our markets. · Function as a client lead and primary point of contact with clients on projects. · Drive business results by executing projects to scope, schedule, and budget, maintaining client relationships, and positioning NTH’s services to meet evolving client needs. · Support matrixed project staff and ensure the highest level of quality on project deliverables and client services. · Manage all aspects of a project, including financial and technical components. · Provide technical expertise to our clients to develop solutions and be a technical resource to other project managers on various projects. · Assist in developing new professionals and mentoring to Assistant Project Managers. · Understanding of current and upcoming regulations and industry trends affecting NTH’s clients.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Technology, Environmental Science/Health, Natural Resources, or related degree, from a 4-year accredited college or university.
Professional registration preferred.
10+ years of project management experience providing technical solutions to civil and/or environmental challenges and with relevant experience as a consultant, client advocate, and/or account manager within the industry.
Experience with project planning, budgeting, delegation, and management to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Experience negotiating project scope and fees with clients.
Experience advocating for clients and projects with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
Experience leading and growing a team of diverse professionals.
Ability to organize technical material into comprehensive reports and perform QA/QC reviews on work product.
Project planning, invoicing, and collections, budgeting, task delegation and management to ensure project is completed according to work plans.
Willingness to seek new clients and build good business relations with both new and existing clients.
Conduct periodic site / client visits, project, and business development meetings.
Accuracy, dependability, and strong organizational skills.
Time management skills, ability to manage multiple projects at any given time, and have ability to work in a team environment.
Must have strong written and oral communication skills, be able to work in a team environment as well as independently, demonstrate collaborative approach to problem-solving, and have ability to interact with clients to understand their needs.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to and conduct field work at job sites/offices in Michigan.
May be required to perform job duties in the field and office, during non-standard work hours, as necessary.
Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
