About The Position

The Project Manager plays a central role in driving projects from pre-construction through closeout, making sure every detail is moving in the right direction. This role is equal parts leader, coordinator, problem solver, and communicator. The Project Manager works closely with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, architects, and vendors to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and running smoothly from start to finish.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Working knowledge of project budgets, schedules, contracts, and construction documentation.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, MS Project, and construction project management software.
  • Ability to travel to project locations as needed.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day project management activities throughout the construction process.
  • Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and closeout materials.
  • Coordinate pre-construction efforts, including tenant meetings, subcontractor kickoff meetings, and project startup documentation.
  • Track project scope, schedule, budget, and key milestones to help ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare, distribute, and manage RFIs and submittals, while maintaining accurate logs and organized project files.
  • Review, prepare, and track owner change order requests and subcontractor change orders.
  • Facilitate communication between ownership, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Lead or support OAC meetings and other project-related meetings, including recording and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Provide regular project updates to ownership and leadership, including weekly status reporting.
  • Maintain project records and upload documentation in OneDrive and other project management systems.
  • Support procurement, coordination, and follow-up on materials, schedules, and subcontractor activities.
  • Drive the project closeout process by gathering warranties, as-builts, manuals, and all required turnover documentation.
  • Coordinate and submit information related to energy rebate programs and other project-specific compliance items.
  • Help identify issues early, solve problems proactively, and keep momentum moving across all phases of the project.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
