About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of program or project management experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing multiple external contractors and vendors strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience working with public-sector, healthcare, or community-based organizations preferred
• Prior experience with education, child services, or similar public agencies is a plus
• Experience collaborating with educators, administrators, case management staff, parents, or children preferred
• Local NYC-area candidates preferred
• Fluency in languages other than English, particularly Spanish, is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide project-level support for assigned workstreams within complex direct service programs
• Support all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery
• Develop and maintain project templates, dashboards, and tracking tools to monitor progress and deliverables
• Collect, analyze, and distribute project data, metrics, and status reports
• Monitor timelines and deliverables; proactively identify, document, and escalate risks and issues
• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal departments, public agencies, and external vendors
• Assist with planning and conducting trainings, including development of training materials
• Provide on-site support for project implementation and operational oversight
• Offer policy and operational guidance to improve service delivery outcomes
• Assist with invoice review, approvals, and budgetary planning recommendations
