What the day will look like The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, implement, control, close) of the project. Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. The PM is also responsible for assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing the schedule and risk management plan to ensure timely completion of the project. May connect with a Senior Project Manager, Functional Area Manager, or Program Manager regarding project status. In addition, the PM takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Collaborate with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors. Ensures adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
