Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Coordination Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met. Obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction projects. Budget Management Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within agreed-upon limits. Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible. Approve and process invoices and change orders. Team Leadership Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and site workers. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment. Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities. Quality Control Oversee all construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues. Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities. Collaboration & Communication Maintain regular communication with clients and provide updates on project status and address any concerns. Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders. Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the construction process. Risk Management Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Address and resolve any unforeseen challenges promptly. Ideal Candidate Profile Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Proficient in Procore and Scheduling Software. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously when necessary. Adept at coordinating work in active environments that remain operational during construction. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Familiarity with pre-construction, scope development and cost estimating. Prior experience managing construction projects on active military bases or other Department of Defense installations is strongly preferred.
