About The Position

Manage the project in a cost effective manner by establishing and applying sound management policies pertaining to the organization, customer relations, planning, cost control, and work flow. Responsible for recruitment, training, management, and supervision of all personnel assigned at the contract site. Responsible for insuring that work is performed to specifications of the contract. Responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies. Maintains reports and records as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Responsible for the overall management of contractor functions and the Statement of Work• Manage the project in a cost efficient and effective manner• Supervise and train assigned individuals in all phases of Food Service operations• Schedule all personnel and work to ensure contract requirements are met• Ensure the project maintains quality standards• Responsible for equipment and supplies (proper usage, maintenance, storage and replacement)Maintain and generate necessary records required by the contract as well as those required byGoodwill• Represent Goodwill in meetings with Government personnel• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment• Responsible for performance of safety drills and keeping the work site within OSHA and Food ServiceStandards.• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Five plus years prior supervisory experience in food service or related supervisory positions.
  • Ability to supervise individuals with disabilities.
  • Ability to recognize and report items of poor or unacceptable quality.
  • Ability to operate manual and mechanized equipment.
  • Ability to function in a military setting.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the level required in the contract and upon receiving clearance eligibility must begin work within 30 days.
  • Within 90 days of employment must be able to obtain ServSafe certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in working with disabled individuals preferred.
  • Experience in a military installation.
