About The Position

BJC is currently seeking a Project Manager to support initiatives for Community Health Improvement (CHI). This project manager will support the CHI team across Healthy Eating Active Living initiatives and Responsive portfolio, which includes firearm violence prevention, environmental justice, digital equity, and addressing emergent needs in the local community. This hybrid position involves external engagement within the community and at BJC hospitals within the health system. We are looking for applicants who have a background in Project Management as well as experience in Community Health with a genuine connection to the community and a passion for improving health outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Project scoping, planning, execution and tracking
  • Change management
  • Team facilitation
  • Risk/issue identification and mitigation
  • Stakeholder tollgates/reports
  • Assists in project management training consistent with PMI and PMBOK
  • Responsible for managing deliverables from resources assigned to project tasks and maintain team progress towards goals.
  • Develops work breakdown structure, timeline, dependencies and milestones.
  • Manages functional and business development requirements.
  • Builds project approval and charter documents.
  • Tracks and analyzes task completion, risks/issues, mitigation strategies, and schedule adjustments.
  • Completes project reporting and dashboard documents in order to inform stakeholders and project plan.
