About The Position

CrossAmerica Partners is seeking a skilled and dedicated Project Manager to oversee and coordinate retail projects related to convenience stores and gasoline fueling facilities from planning through to turnover. Projects include but are not limited to roofing, paving, store remodels/refreshes, electrical, plumbing, and painting. This position involves managing all aspects of project execution, including resource allocation, budget adherence, process improvements, and reporting. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires travel.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively to minimize costs without compromising quality.
  • Proficient in project management software such as Monday, Microsoft Office Suite, or other similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings to different organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both field teams and internal staff.
  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in retail or construction projects.
  • Familiarity with or experience in managing convenience store construction or renovation projects.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with utilizing Monday or similar project management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage retail projects from initial planning stages through to final turnover, ensuring smooth transitions and on-time completion.
  • Coordinate all necessary resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to ensure successful project completion.
  • Adhere to project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and expenditures are tracked, with appropriate measures taken to address budget variances.
  • Continuously monitor project management processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Record and report on the status of all project phases to relevant company stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency.
  • Monitor and approve all project-related invoices, maintaining an organized tracking system to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Provide and maintain aligned scheduling with specific timeframes for each project, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met without compromise to quality.
