About The Position

Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Project Manager in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Maryland Heights, MO. Responsibilities: Senior Project Manager will create and manage detailed project plans, including timelines and milestones for the Converged Ordering project Lead scope, schedule, and quality delivery, ensuring the project stays on track and meets deadlines Provide occasional presentations to VP-level stakeholders, demonstrating progress and addressing concerns Collaborate with program managers and other project managers for cross-functional support and coordination Manage communications across both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring seamless coordination and transparency As a Senior Project Manager, you will monitor and track project budgets (though the budget itself is managed by another team), while overseeing project burn downs and maintaining project timelines Handle all aspects of project management with minimal handholding in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Proven experience as a Project Manager in large-scale application development projects, especially in telecommunications or related industries Hands-on experience with scope, schedule, and budget management for large projects Experience managing high-visibility projects with cross-functional teams Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to drive projects forward independently, with solid decision-making and communication skills Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and delivery quality without micromanagement

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in large-scale application development projects, especially in telecommunications or related industries
  • Hands-on experience with scope, schedule, and budget management for large projects
  • Experience managing high-visibility projects with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to drive projects forward independently, with solid decision-making and communication skills
  • Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and delivery quality without micromanagement

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management certifications are a plus but not required
  • Previous experience working with Company or similar telecommunications companies
  • Telecom industry experience, particularly with ordering systems and processes
