Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, business administration, project management or related field
  • 5+ years’ project management experience with demonstrated experience leading software or system implementation projects, including requirements gathering, testing coordination (UAT), and rollout planning.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional teams to meet deadlines without direct authority.
  • Excels in managing competing priorities while maintaining clear verbal and written communication keeping work organized and on schedule
  • Applies structured problem-solving and independent initiative while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive, steady presence in challenging or sensitive situations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and industry standard project tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, or MS Project)
  • Exceptional documentation skills with the ability to produce clear requirements, process documentation, and structured project artifacts

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for Finance team initiatives with emphasis on structured planning, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to achieve optimal project satisfaction
  • Manage cross-functional projects in coordination with stakeholders including technology implementations, process improvements, automation efforts, and compliance or data-related projects to optimize success and risk mitigation
  • For large initiatives, develop formal project plans, charters, requirements, timelines, and decision logs
  • Maintain an agile mindset for smaller projects
  • Partner closely with colleagues from other organizations to coordinate meetings, define project requirements and hold teams accountable to deadlines with escalation as needed
  • Operate with high standards when creating and maintaining project trackers and documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency; serve as the primary owner of meeting notes, action items, testing artifacts, and rollout materials
  • Work closely with and support Finance Coordinator for effective change management and process improvement including but not limited to stakeholder communication and engagement, coordination of training, project documentation, and drafting process or workflow recommendations
  • Partner with the Finance Compliance Specialist to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies and operational standards to safeguard business operations
  • Support Finance team members by building a prioritization framework and playbooks for critical and/or complex recurring activities to effectively monitor capacity and deadlines for continuous improvement and efficiency
  • Exercise flexibility to assist with ad-hoc projects outside of Finance team initiatives, if deemed appropriate to support other departments within the company to ensure optimal results and overall company success
