About The Position

At Align, we are at the forefront of innovation in automation and material handling equipment.  We believe that the backbone of our success is our people, and we are committed to fostering a workplace where creativity meets efficiency to drive industry-leading results. Join us and become part of a vibrant team pushing the boundaries of technology and design! We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, engineer-to-order (ETO) capital equipment projects. This role owns the full lifecycle of custom automation equipment and material handling systems, from post sales order intake through design, build, installation, and customer approval. This is not an IT or service-based PM role. Candidates must have direct experience delivering physical equipment, machinery, or industrial systems.  This role does not have direct reports. Success requires strong project ownership and accountability, structured communication, and the ability to drive accountability through influence, reporting discipline, and process rigor. Strong Mechanical and Engineering aptitude is critical to success in this role. Project Leadership Expectations: The Project Manager is the single point of accountability for scope, schedule, and margin performance. Owns the project P&L performance (engineering hours, procurement impacts, and execution costs). Leads by influence across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Service without direct reports. Enforces structured reporting, documentation discipline, and formal change control. Establishes professional boundaries with customers and protects company commitments. Drives escalation early when scope, cost, or timeline are at risk.
