About The Position

PCI is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its PCI Atlanta 101 operations based in Fayetteville, GA. Estimate, bid, and secure construction projects of sufficient revenue and margin to meet the prescribed business plan. Initiate and maintain customer contact to enable securements and profitable execution of work. Direct and manage the construction activities of projects in the area of responsibility in order to maximize margin contribution results. Interpret and analyze contract documents regarding terms, specifications, clarifications, and requirements for each project. Manage job-site personnel to maintain effective relationships with the owner, engineers, utilities, subcontractors, contractors, unions, and others. Implement the corporate program regarding loss control and claims management pertaining to workers' compensation. Analyze and monitor actual vs. estimated costs to develop action plans when unfavorable variances are detected. Ensure that an effective job control system is utilized on each project. Effectively estimate the majority of work applicable to the respective region. Responsible to solicit the assistance of the estimating department when necessary in order to assure maximum bidding activity without sacrificing quality. Negotiate contract issues and variances and further negotiate change orders, scope changes, claims, and other project issues as required.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of Construction Management work experience.
  • Experienced in Commercial, Industrial, and Mechanical construction.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word.
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
  • High level of attention to detail and cost analysis.
  • Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.
  • Proficiency with computer takeoff & estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quickbid.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and keep each on schedule, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company.
  • Must be flexible and enjoy working with a diverse group in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position is safety sensitive.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management.
  • OSHA Certification.
  • Local to the Atlanta metro area is preferred.
  • Please be advised that the office will relocate to Smyrna, GA, in June 2026.
