About The Position

The Learning Center is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to manage the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, time-bound projects related to population health initiatives. This role is designed for a seasoned project management professional who excels at developing detailed workplans, tracking milestones, managing dependencies, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. The Project Manager will translate program goals into executable project plans and ensure high-quality delivery. They will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive the timely delivery of deliverables to internal and external partners, manage timelines and dependencies, surface risks, and support clear decision making across project partners. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong attention to detail with sound judgment and comfort managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five to seven years of experience managing complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing detailed project plans and workplans.
  • Strong organizational, tracking, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution
  • Own end-to-end project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with program goals and delivery commitments.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, escalating tradeoffs and recommendations as needed.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Monitor delivery against project plans and recommend adjustments to schedules and approaches as needed to ensure successful delivery.
  • Project Coordination and Management
  • Lead regular project check-ins, status meetings, and working sessions to drive progress and resolve blockers.
  • Ensure clear documentation of decisions, action items, and next steps, and drive accountability for follow-through.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, including workplans, meeting notes, and status reports.
  • Manage scope changes by assessing impacts and supporting informed decision-making around timelines and resources.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
  • Synthesize project progress, risks, and recommendations into clear updates for internal leadership and external partners.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for project delivery, coordinating communication across stakeholders.
  • Ensure stakeholders have timely, actionable information to support alignment and decision-making.
  • Operational Oversight
  • Ensure alignment between project goals, operational processes, and delivery constraints.
  • Support tracking of project budgets and resource allocation, flagging risks or constraints as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen project management tools, templates, and workflows.
  • Team and Culture Building
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that supports professional growth and development.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance systems and team capacity.
  • Provide training and guidance to teams to build organizational capacity and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Act as a cultural steward, ensuring the Learning Center’s values of equity, inclusion, and collaboration are reflected in the team’s work and interactions.
