The Project Manager provides a broad range of project management and operational support, contributing to the administration, coordination, and execution of key initiatives across the department. This role supports planning, budgeting, organizing, research, and service delivery activities while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager leads and coordinates cross-functional teams, manages resources, and ensures alignment with organizational goals. The position oversees all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, while proactively identifying risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and maintaining clear, consistent communication with stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong leadership, sound judgment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Project Manager may provide backup support and coverage to other managers and directors within the department, as needed. The position may also co-oversee Masters in Health Administration (MHA) residencies or internships for the department. Overall, this role is essential to advancing the Office's commitment to integrated, collaborative, and evidence-based enterprise risk management across Keck Medicine of USC. The Project Manager, Organizational Effectiveness is a key member of the Human Resources team and provides a wide range of project management and operational support. The individual will assist in the administration and coordination of a variety functions including planning, budgeting, organizing, research, and management of activities for the Associate Administrator, Organizational Effectiveness and other senior leaders of the Human Resources team. Assignments will involve coordination with a variety of HR functions and collaborating with departments or entities within Keck Medicine or at University Park Campus. This work involves organizations that are part of due diligence, integration, or additional key strategic priorities with Keck Medicine.
