About The Position

The Project Manager is part of the Sales Project Management Organization and is responsible for the Customer Project planning, delivery execution, monitoring and controlling, performance, invoice coordination and closing. The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of sales-related customer projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, monitoring, invoicing coordination, and closure. Acting as the primary internal project owner, the role partners closely with the customer Project Manager to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with financial and strategic objectives. The position requires strong cross-functional leadership, customer-facing execution, and the ability to resolve technical and business issues while escalating risks appropriately.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of project management or sales support experience in a technical environment.
  • 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
  • 1+ year of experience gathering client or business requirements and producing related documentation.
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects across the full product lifecycle, with understanding of development lifecycles and supporting methodologies.
  • Experience in similar industry environments, including building construction, large system integrators, or comparable technical sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full project lifecycle from initiation through deployment, managing one major or multiple minor initiatives simultaneously.
  • Plan, execute, monitor, control, invoice close customer projects, including coordination of invoicing activities.
  • Ensure successful on-site delivery by confirming site readiness, material availability, and complete scheduling of Field Service Engineers prior to installation.
  • Provide regular project status reports, schedules, and plans to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Analyze project margins versus targets; identify root causes of deviations and define corrective actions and lessons learned.
  • Evaluate project feasibility, funding limitations, resource needs, and timelines during proposal and planning phases.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the billing milestones.
  • Organize and lead checkpoint meetings with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure alignment, timely delivery, and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with Level 2 and Level 3 support teams to plan and schedule Special Product Requests, including customized software solutions.
  • Autonomously resolve technical and business issues that arise during project execution, escalating critical situations when necessary.
  • Manage multiple related projects to ensure alignment with broader program objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Prepare project summaries and reports for presentation to senior management
