About The Position

The Project Manager takes the lead on dynamic, small to medium-sized projects, driving them to success with minimal direction. This role involves providing direction of a cross-functional focused team of up to 10 members, while also spearheading sub-teams for larger, high-impact projects and programs that span across multiple functions within the division. It's a fast-paced, pivotal position where you’ll make a tangible difference, influencing key initiatives and shaping the future of the organization!

Requirements

  • At least 5 years project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Engineering, or similar)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and be driven by group feedback
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet given deadlines
  • Close attention to detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • High sense of personal accountability and self-motivation

Nice To Haves

  • PMP Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Experience in Fulfillment & Distribution, Pharmacy Fulfillment, or related industries.

Responsibilities

  • Manages, plans, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
  • Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
  • Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Prepares and delivers comprehensive weekly and recurring project status reports for internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, and upcoming milestones to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • May manage sub-contractors and their workforce.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modified schedules or plans as required.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, including financial, operational, and technical risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce the impact of identified risks.
  • Maintain a risk register, ensuring it is updated regularly and that risks are proactively managed.
  • Provide regular reports on risk status to senior management and stakeholders, recommending adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
  • May manage Project Supervisors/leaders assigned to specific projects.
