About The Position
NIKA is hiring for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the on-site Project Management at Fort Carson, CO. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management from an accredited university and minimum 5 years of relevant work experience OR minimum of ten years of verifiable experience in Facilities Maintenance, Public Works Operations and Maintenance, Work Classification, handling a wide range of customer issues and resolutions, and managing Installation Support contracts comparable in scope and complexity to this Performance Work Statement.
- Must also possess working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., GFEBS), specifically within the Finance, Plant Maintenance, Project Systems, and Materials Management modules.
- Can demonstrate good communication and organizational skills that are required for government design/build projects and for daily interaction with government construction management staff.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Clearance Access Card (CAC)
- U.S. Citizenship required
Responsibilities
- Coordinating, reviewing and coordinating with POCs work plans
- Coordinating installs
- Conducting quality control
- Validating products being installed are correct
- Preparation of project scopes of work and rough cost estimates
- Provide technical review of construction contractor proposals, including project modifications
- Providing projects programming along with project management and design review inputs
- Communication with project customers to validate project requirements
- Review of pertinent clinics/hall specific and industry standard codes and guidelines
- Selection of appropriate engineering systems and solutions
