About The Position

The Project Manager leads selected strategic, cross-functional innovation projects - such as new product development, packaging changes, new product claims, key process improvements and visual brand upgrades - to drive delivery of business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Sciences, Business, Finance, Engineering or related course of study.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D or related function, including Project Management in a consumer healthcare environment or related area (e.g., CPG, pharmaceutical, food & beverage etc.).
  • Proven delivery of effective project management across a range of project types and complexities.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
  • Comfortable operating in situations characterized by complexity, ambiguity and high levels of uncertainty.
  • Understanding of the key business processes and functions within matrixed organizations.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to influence with or without authority at levels above and below own grade level.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to effectively convey information, adapt messaging based on audience, and engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to drive a culture of accountability across project teams to ensure milestones, quality standards, and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in building trust with teams and stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in project management and Agile practices/methodologies.
  • Experience in project management within OTC, Rx, Food or similar project types

Responsibilities

  • Developing proficiency in delivering innovation project.
  • For select markets, may be responsible for managing country-level launch details.
  • Role model HALEON culture.
  • Applies PM best practices on projects and supports overall business capability building.
  • Developing proficiency in driving resolution of team conflicts through skilled negotiation and diplomacy, elevating to accountable functional leaders as necessary.
  • Foster an environment of enthusiasm, accountability and teamwork, and help reward and celebrate achievements.
  • Good partnership with the Project Accountable Lead, instilling confidence and providing competence necessary to take on the challenging objectives and drive accountability.
  • Accountable for building project team (functions, people) upon project approval, partnering closely with cross-functional leadership, seeking manager guidance as needed.
  • Guide core teams to ensure timely decision making, effective stakeholder communication, adherence to applicable processes, contingency planning and execution.
  • Accountable for assuring there is a clear project scope and strategy, aligned resource needs, and comprehensive spend forecasts.
  • Develop & maintain comprehensive timelines in PPM system with cross-functional input & limited guidance, by integrating key functional deliverables and local market launch activities, considering dependencies and resource requirements.
  • Facilitate functional area’s probability of success assessments in support of portfolio pipeline activities
  • Developing proficiency in identifying issues and driving resolution with guidance.
  • Assure comprehensive risk assessments and mitigation plans are in place for all projects.
  • Ensure significant changes to the aligned business case are communicated rapidly and efficiently to appropriate leadership (via existing change control process)
  • Assure accuracy of assigned projects’ content in PPM system working closely with data owners from cross-functional project team.
  • Align & deliver all key project milestones to support appropriate metrics.
  • Co-drive gate readiness partnering closely with Project Accountable Lead and action any gate meeting outcomes with broader project team.
  • Conduct lessons learned with project teams, document, and assure dissemination out to organization as best practice.
  • Co-develop, align and track project budget, rapidly communicating variance.
