The Special Project Project Manager will support a major retailer’s Security Technology team primarily focusing on supporting the Special Projects Team. Duties will be gathering project documentation and coordinating assignments for the life cycle of each special projects. This role will ensure we have accurate project notes and documentation for scope of work, bid, project tracking, and project close out

Requirements

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Project management & task management skills
  • Ability to coordinate with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely deliverables
  • Strong communication, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with vendor/customer communication and data coordination in related role
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Power Apps
  • Experience with data management tools & software
  • Lite project management and task management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building dashboard and AI tools to improve workflows
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Project Data Gathering - Gather and consolidate data for various projects and groups pertaining to project scope, project discovery phase.
  • Develop and maintain store folders hosting specific project details and documentation.
  • Stakeholder and Third-Party Coordination - Work with Special Project team to establish and support project schedules.
  • Work with teams to help provide resolutions to questions and design reviews for errors.
  • Data Management and Analysis - Enter and interact with data in Quickbase, Lucernex, and SharePoint.
  • Light review work in SiteOwl of AutoCAD with minimal changes.
  • Documentation updates as needed, with provided updates such as parts # changes, process document changes, etc.
