About The Position

As Project Manager, you will play a key role in planning, structuring, and coordinating the program responsible for maintaining and expanding NYCs roadside camera infrastructure. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage project workflows, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure program objectives are delivered in alignment with agency requirements. You will collaborate with executives, engineers, legal teams, financial stakeholders, and operational staff to manage program structure, documentation, and delivery for this major public infrastructure deployment.

Requirements

  • Approximately 5 years of project management experience , preferably within technology deployment or infrastructure programs
  • Experience in areas such as construction cost management, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, engineering, or accounting
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules
  • Experience working with New York City public agencies
  • Familiarity with construction or project management software and tools
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, written, verbal, and negotiation communication skills
  • Advanced presentation and meeting facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification preferred but not required
  • Background in utility deployment, technology infrastructure, or large-scale public infrastructure programs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the program structure, workflows, and operational processes
  • Translate operational needs into RFP-compliant program requirements
  • Draft and contribute to scopes of work, technical specifications, and compliance matrices
  • Coordinate project activities across operations, legal, finance, engineering, and IT teams
  • Ensure alignment among internal stakeholders, project teams, and agency partners
  • Develop project plans, documentation, and executive-level presentations
  • Support proposal development, RFP responses, and evaluation criteria preparation
  • Lead meetings, coordinate project updates, and communicate deliverables to leadership and stakeholders
  • Oversee progress and ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project timelines
