The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of client engagements. This role requires an experienced leader who can plan, execute, and finalize complex projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, often involving cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. The PM acts as the key interface between the client and the consulting team, ensuring clear communication, proactive risk management, and the delivery of high-quality, measurable results that align with the client's strategic business objectives. Success in this role demands exceptional leadership, problem-solving abilities, business acumen, and a dedicated focus on client satisfaction and value realization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager delivering complex technology initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience owning project planning, scheduling, and execution, including support of business analysis responsibilities
  • Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and delivery schedules across multiple workstreams
  • Strong background supporting engineering teams in structured, delivery-focused environments
  • Proven ability to manage resource allocation, including shared or rotating resource pools
  • Firsthand experience with Jira and Confluence; familiarity with Smartsheet or similar planning tools
  • Experience using Miro or similar tools for planning and visual collaboration
  • Effective communication skills, including executive-level status updates and presentations
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Management, Computer Science, or a related field. PMP or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certifications are a major plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of project management experience required. Healthcare or FinTech experience required.
  • Certifications: Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly desirable.
  • Technical Literacy: Proficiency in collaborative technology such as Microsoft, Google Suite, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), and/or JIRA/ADO.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation skills, active listening, negotiation, conflict resolution, and effective escalation management.

Responsibilities

  • Project Orchestration: Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Implement and support proper project life cycle and required processes and workflows.
  • Create and own the project roadmap and delivery schedule, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
  • Perform project scheduling and planning with project leads.
  • Prepare regular project status reports and organize project status meetings.
  • Escalate project-related issues to the Program Manager on time.
  • Monitor project execution.
  • Client Management: Function as a strategic advisor to clients, managing expectations and providing transparent updates on project health.
  • Establish proper communication channels between teams and customers.
  • Resource Allocation: Work with project leads to ensure the right talent is assigned to the right tasks without causing burnout.
  • Scope & Risk Control: Identify potential "scope creep" early and manage the change request process.
  • Proactively mitigate technical and timeline risks.
  • Maintain and actively manage the project risk register, dependencies, and timelines
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project health through diligent tracking of burn rates, billable utilization, and overall profitability against the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the final delivery meets both the technical specifications and the client’s business objectives.
