About The Position

Project Manager (Engineering and Manufacturing) Salamander Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and manufacturing projects that support the development, production, and delivery of our technology and equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring effective alignment between Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations to deliver projects on time, within scope, and to the highest technical and operational standards. The Project Manager will play a critical role in driving engineering discipline, improving manufacturing efficiency, optimizing processes, and enabling the successful execution of product-based and operational readiness projects. This position requires on-site presence.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or related discipline with 8+ years of engineering or manufacturing project management experience.

Nice To Haves

Industry-recognized project management certification (preferred).
Experience managing engineering, manufacturing, or product development projects in industrial, energy, or oilfield equipment environments.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electromechanical, or subsea/surface equipment engineering processes.
Experience with manufacturing operations, assembly workflows, production planning, and supply chain coordination.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
Experience working in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is preferred.
Familiarity with engineering change management, manufacturing documentation, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering and manufacturing project execution from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, production schedules, and company objectives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and HSE—to ensure seamless project execution.
Oversee project kickoff, planning, detailed scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.
Ensure adherence to engineering specifications, manufacturing documentation, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout all project phases.
Identify, evaluate, and manage changes in project scope through structured Management of Change (MOC) processes.
Provide accurate project status updates, including schedule progress, technical milestones, cost forecasts, budget performance, material readiness, and resource utilization.
Manage internal work orders and production requirements, ensuring timely release of engineering deliverables and material procurement.
Drive project performance to meet or exceed cost, quality, and delivery targets by proactively identifying risks, mitigating delays, and resolving technical or manufacturing issues.
Support quotation and proposal activities by providing schedules, cost estimates, manufacturing cycle assessments, and resource plans.
Ensure project outcomes align with Profit & Loss targets through effective planning, risk management, and manufacturing efficiency improvements.
Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned, enhance execution strategies, improve engineering productivity, and reduce manufacturing cycle times.
Administer project and production orders within the D365 system, ensuring full control of engineering change, production routing, procurement, and order-to-delivery workflows.
Perform complex project tasks independently, delivering high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision.
Anticipate and resolve potential issues in engineering design, material flow, manufacturing work centers, and production sequencing to minimize rework, delays, and operational risks.
Travel as required to fabrication sites, manufacturing partners, or internal facilities for project oversight, supplier engagement, and technical support.
