About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager to join our team! Ready to put your project management skills to work on a variety of projects? Are you great with people and have a track record working with teams to get the job done? Parsons is now hiring a Field Project Manager with a desire to work on creating innovative, practical solutions while acting as a client representative. This includes providing project management activities in accordance with project/client procedures, scope of work, and contract specifications. Serves as the primary point of contact with the client for all site activities related to assigned area(s) of responsibility. Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your experience as a client rep at a field level will propel your career and leadership opportunities forward. We need our Field Project Managers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team oriented environments that have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills. Travel requirement is approximately 25% - 35% to locations nation-wide.

Requirements

  • Be able to summarize complex facilities issues
  • Facilities Management background

Nice To Haves

  • Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Regional Project Manager to set and manage project schedule and budget; track progress against requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project documents, processes, and procedures supporting quality control and deliverables.
  • Promote and monitor jobsite safety policies and practices.
  • Chair weekly job meetings and report progress and open issues to the Regional Project Manager, D&C Director, and COR
  • Prepare and submit monthly client reports; respond to client concerns and expectations.
  • Assist with pricing and negotiation of scope changes with clients and subcontractors.
  • Review bid documents and support bidder solicitation activities.
  • Document and execute scope changes; anticipate issues, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain daily logs and project records.
