About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for planning and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. This role has supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of project management experience required.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, project management, or similar field required.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong analytic mindset.

Excellent critical thinking skills.
Superior interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
Qualitative and quantitative analytic skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Ability to direct team members and work under actuarial supervision.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Experience in an actuarial health care consulting firm preferred.

Responsibilities

Determine and define project scope and objectives.
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
Track project costs in order to meet budget.
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Supervise and mentor assigned colleagues.
