About The Position
Project Manager – Construction Industry Location: Phillipsburg, NJ (On-site, Monday–Friday) Are you ready to take on a leadership role in a fast-growing company within the manufacturing and construction industry? We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee complex projects from fabrication through erection. Responsibilities As a Project Manager, you’ll be the key liaison between manufacturing, construction teams, and clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in construction project management
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (no need to create them).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable working on-site five days a week.
Responsibilities
- Managing all phases of steel fabrication and erection projects.
- Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings for accuracy.
- Coordinating schedules, budgets, and change orders.
- Leading project kickoff meetings and attending jobsite meetings.
- Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Maintaining strong client relationships and resolving project challenges.
