Do you want to help bring new hospitals, clinics, and patient care spaces to life? Stanford Health Care is seeking a Project Manager to join our Activations & Operational Integration (AOI) team. In this role, you’ll manage projects that ensure facilities, workflows, and programs are operationally ready to deliver exceptional care from day one. The AOI team provides integrated project management for clinical space activations, hospital tours, and facilities governance across the Stanford Medicine enterprise. By leveraging standard work, AOI aligns workflows with facility capabilities and industry best practices, keeping stakeholders engaged and proactively addressing risks. As a Project Manager, you’ll lead projects from intake through stabilization, overseeing scope, schedules, risks, and compliance. You’ll serve as the central point of contact across operations, facilities, IT, vendors, and leadership, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals. You may also support Senior Project Managers and direct project coordinators to deliver seamless execution. The Project Manager (PM) leads key organization initiatives for Stanford Health Care. Project Managers are responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of project management on assigned projects, including, but not limited to, project scope, project schedule, project budget, project plans, facilitating meetings, documenting requirements, overseeing development, operational workflows, and implementation. Additionally, the Project Manager directs participants in compliance and regulatory alignment efforts. The Project Manager is responsible for identifying and resolving project issues, making sure the project progresses on schedule and on budget. The PM is the point of communication with stakeholders and is accountable for the project's success. The Project Manager must have strong communication skills in acting as the liaison between the project team, subcontractor, customer, key stakeholders, and senior leadership. The Project Manager has ultimate responsibility for project delivery. The Project Manager may direct the project/senior project coordinator (PC or Sr. PC) to expedite project related tasks.
