About The Position

Project Manager (IT Consulting) Location: remote (must be willing to accommodate east coast business hours) The Project Manager (PM) role at TekStream is to assist in the management of significant delivery initiatives for Fortune 500 clients. This is excellent opportunity to take part in the growth of a services organization that is an AWS Certified Partner, Splunk Certified Partner, and Oracle Certified Partner. This role is a dual role comprising of: Project Management Business Analyst The PM requires consistent attention to detail while managing the progress of the assigned projects. The PM is required to perform the business analysis functions for each of the projects during the QuickStream™ phase and managing and maintaining the project plan during the Delivery and Implementation phase. The PM is also required to develop and manage the following Plans: Communications Risk Mitigation Testing Training Plans as required for each project as required.

Requirements

3+ years full lifecycle enterprise support of IT initiatives in a functional and/or techno-functional capacity including Business Analysis, Project Management, and professional consulting.
Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word, and Visio.
Interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's Degree minimum with Computer focus which could include Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer Applications.

Nice To Haves

PMP
Experience running consulting projects dealing with cloud (ideally AWS) and/or Splunk professional services, managed services and technical solutions.
5 years of IT related work experience

Responsibilities

Identify, coordinate, and manage resources and key stakeholders for project. Develop project plan and drive project milestones.
Estimate the scope of work to develop budgets and facilitate resourcing decisions.
Perform functional analysis, document requirements, and develop use cases.
Develop test cases and oversee the QA process.
Employ project management methodologies and tools, such as MS Project, to deliver projects on time, at/under budget, and within scope.
Ensure effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. Manage all communication plans, training and documentation.
Communicate project status to all stakeholders on a regular basis throughout the lifecycle of the project.
