Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent should be required.
  • At least two years of experience managing complex projects required.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle high stress and changing priorities required.
  • Analyzing information, attention to detail, confidentiality, thoroughness, general math skills required.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
  • Strong computer skills, including spreadsheet and presentation software, required.
  • Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment is required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and sit.
  • The employee is occasionally required to move around the facility; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Master’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or similar preferred.
  • Experience in clinical healthcare setting, particularly non-profit or community health center strongly preferred.
  • Certification in Project Management, Six Sigma, Lean Management, or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads project teams throughout project planning and implementation.
  • Facilitates service line work through strategic planning, strategy execution and monitoring.
  • Responsible for meeting quality standards and production of expected deliverables during all phases of the project life cycle including initiating; planning; executing; controlling; and closing projects.
  • Prepares data for analysis and guides decisions or corrective action as needed.
  • Identifies potential risks to project and strategy execution (such as delays, cost overruns, or missing deliverables), recommends mitigation strategies, and monitor results.
  • Assembles project teams, identifies resources and project requirements, assigns responsibilities, and develops detailed project plans to effectively complete activities of the project.
  • Collaborates with Finance to prepare budgets and estimate project expenses.
  • Responsible for working with the service line leadership to identify and prioritize service line projects and work streams to meet the strategic objectives set by leadership.
  • Identifies and analyzes strategic options for potential solutions and project structure.
  • Presents solutions for leadership approval.
  • Communicates status of projects and service line accomplishments to executive leadership and collaborates with project sponsors and/or service line leaders to propose changes as appropriate.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
